“ Loved the food, ambiance and service! Tried the sopes and scallops. Nice indoor and outdoor seating . ”
“ The happy hour is so damn good!! 4-7 during the week and drinks and apps are $8! We ordered the Paloma and the Lupita - both delicious but ultimately the Lupita was the favorite - the watermelon tequila is amazing!! We also ordered the cochinita pibil sopecitos, the pastor quesadilla, and the chicken mole huaraches. Our favorites were the quesadilla and the chicken mole huarache - incredible both of them!! We absolutely loved them and had a great time for happy hour. Service was great and food came out quickly, we ate and drank and left in less than an hour! The indoor is very cute - but bring a coat in the winter bc it doesn't seem like their heat was working when we visited and it was a very cold day. ”
“ Yummy Oaxacan Food with seemingly handmade masa items. The complimentary chips and dip are incredibly unique and delicious. They resemble creamy, spicy salsa aioli dips. Try it--you won't regret it! :) The chicken mole huarache ($15) was both filling and flavorful. The interior is adorned with lots of biblical decor, which is quite interesting. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was prompt! :) ”
“ 2 words, lengua tacos. This spot is so authentic with their menu, and everything is delicious. It's perfectly situated amongst the craziness of the east side bars as a quick getaway. The margaritas are nice and strong and the servers are super nice. One of my fav spots in town! ”
“ Wow. Just wow. I was so impressed with this place and pleasantly surprised at how authentic and flavorful the food was. I had dinner here on a Friday night and it was packed and the atmosphere was lively. I loved that the restaurant is in an old house. The service was good and we got our food quickly. My food reviews are below: Drinks: 5/5 Chips and Salsa: 5/5 amazing. The flavors of both dips you are given are so unique and delicious. Enchiladas Suizas: 10000/5 OMG. So glad I ordered this; It was absolutely delicious. Birria Tacos: 5/5 ”
“ Came here for a friend's birthday celebration so there was a party of about 8 of us. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. It was an August evening so it was a bit hot outside but the patio is very shaded and there were plenty of fans so it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Salsas were delicious as well as the drinks. I had the Paloma which was refreshing. The brisket tacos were 10/10- very large portion so I could have gotten away with sharing them (but I enjoyed the leftovers the next day). Everyone seemed very pleased with their food and we all left full and happy! ”
“ Great ambiance! We sat on the front porch under the fans and it was very pleasant! Service was great! Drinks were cool and refreshing and the waiter gave us a taster to decide what we preferred! Ceviche was delicious! Salsas were a highlight- craving both still! The grilled scallops small plate was a dinner portion! And my friends shared the steak tacos which were served fajita style on a skillet and you make them yourself with the fresh homemade tortillas! I will be back! ”
“ Great service. Incredible cocktails. Delicious food. Chips and Guacamole - 5/5 Alambre Tacos - 5/5 Drinks - 5/5 The steak tacos were delicious. Super big portion for a very reasonable price. Service was great. Drinks were super tasty. ”
“ We made a reservation here before coming to Austin and this was our first night being in Austin. We were looking for some great Mexican food to start our trip! We sat on the patio and it was the perfect weather. As soon as we sat we got brought chips and two types of salsas that were both delicious and different from each other. Our server was helpful with questions and so fast. Esquite - so flavorful!! A perfect side to start. One of the best I've had! Lengua - I don't know if I had had Lengua plain on a taco I think I've had it mixed with something? BUT this was soooo flavorful and had the best balance of flavors. I was so impressed with it and highly recommend. Lupita- also one of the best margaritas I've had, the balance of the flavors in this were amazing and it was so refreshing. Overall this place was great and I highly recommend it! ”
